I forced my eyes to see it after several attempts I managed to see the secret, among the clouds you realize if you look at carefully the face of Fatih Sultan Mehmet, it is extraordinary, on the ground there are cannonballs, spears, arrows. On the sky concealed a mystery among the clouds everybody were looking the sky to see the secret. The pictures describe the day 29 may, 1453 and how Fatih Sultan Mehmet conquered Constantinople and took the city from the Byzantine Empire, on the day the Ottoman Empire took a big victory against Byzantines.

The conquest was pictured as three-dimensional and you can watch the pictures from 14 meter distance to create three-d effect, the pictures are so real that you assume yourself as if you are into the war and you feel as if you are experienced that moment. I certainly wanted to stay there forever, I witnessed the big history of the Ottoman Empire and how brave soldiers we had. I was crowded and most of policemen came to visit the museum, some visitors took pictures and some visitors recorded the video. As a Turk, the museum really touched my f eelings, even I can say my eyes filled with tears, I observe that everybody in the museum experienced the same feelings like me. I have to mention you need to visit there to understand my feelings and to live that atmosphere I cannot describe the beauty of the museum using limited words. The museum is supported not only just the pictures but also sound system, the visitors hear cannon shoots, horse roaring and screams of warriors. The panoramic museum takes place in the fourth floor in the other floors you can see pictures and writings about the conquest of Istanbul and what happened during the preparation process of the conquest. In my opinion when you think what you will see, entrance fee for the museum is most cheap I am sure you will agree with my idea and you think that the fee really is cheap. Firstly when I went into the museum I paid 3 tl, this is for students, if you are not a student you should pay 5 tl and if you are a tourist you need to pay 10 euro. Someone wants to visit the museum can use metrobüs, railway and the other many buses, transportation is easy. I went the museum on Maat 11 a.m and when I was going there I thought most probably there would not be crowded because the time was early to visit a museum but unfortunately I was wrong, actually to tell the truth, I was proud of seeing the huge crowded, once again I understand how my countrymen strictly depend on Istanbul and their history.

Istanbul 1453 Panorama Museum was chosen the best museum of 2010 and situated in Istanbul Topkapı.
